A book that I would recommend to this group is Web 2.0 New Tools, New Schools by Lynne Schrum and Gwen Solomon. This book, recently released, goes over what Web 2.0 is and resources that you can use in each category. This book is available for sale on the ISTE website.

Dave Barry has written a series of books about how Peter Pan acquired his powers and cast of characters. His humor comes through in this intricate series. The first is called Peter and the Starcatchers.

The Glass Castle by Jeanette Wall is a well written memoir that tells author's story of her triumphant choice from poverty to success.

Great Job!!!

I recently read a book titled, "Who Moved my Cheese." It was a curious book and a quick read. It has two mice and two humans who have to deal with the everchanging world. It suggests that people need to be more like mice when reacting to their environment. Mice move on to look for food soon after it's gone, the humans in the book persisted to try and do the same things they always did, even when it did not bring the desired results. The book is very simple with its word usage, but has much deeper meanings. Well worth a read; it offers interesting philosophies that can be applied to many parts of life.

If a good laugh is what keeps you reading, then read Lamb by Christopher Moore. It is a story about the lost years of Christ, as told by his best friend Biff. It helps to be Christian, but this book is funny even if you are not one. The zany adventures of Jesus (called Joshua in the book) take us to a ‘ninja’ palace, a desert caravan, a Buddhist temple, and an ancient yogi’s cave, among other places. This lighthearted satire is great, and has earned a permanent space on my shelf at home.
